Workforce Boards across Massachusetts, including MassHire Merrimack Valley Workforce Board, fund programs to help in-school and out-of-school youth complete their education, pursue training or post-secondary education, and enter the workforce. Eligible youth receive career planning, support services, alternative education, work-based learning, and occupational skills training through MassHire Career Centers and WIOA Youth Service Providers.

Funded by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), MassHire Merrimack Valley Workforce Board supports youth workforce development programs that provide education, employment exposure, and support services for low-income youth. These programs equip participants with industry-recognized credentials, workplace skills, and personal stability for long-term success.

MassHire Merrimack Valley Workforce Board currently supports the following WIOA Youth Programs:

In School: YMCA North Shore of Haverhill

Out of School: Cybersecurity Warriors
